Nearly a century after the end of the Global Disarmament War, society has yet to recover. Fragmented remnants of humanity struggle to rebuild 'what once was' in the face of fierce climate change, mutated threats, emerging technology, religion and the aftermath of nuclear war. On one side of the conflict is Providence, a growing city built on the ruins of Los Angeles ruled by a dystopian noble class; On the other is Ain Soph Aur, a rebel faction waging guerrilla warfare against the city in their fight for a freer society. In between, mercenary bands, outlaws, and civilians struggle to make a living in a barren and dangerous wasteland, where all sides share the same goal: Survival.

First of all-- THANK YOU to everyone for being amazing members and sticking around even though staff as sort've fallen off the face of the Earth. Real life always manages to make consistency hard for admining a quality site and I make no excuses for taking a vacation instead of doing the homework which is now consuming my life.

That being said, we are NOT going to close NTR. Instead, expect some additions to the staff (Hi G6, Hi Jimmeh!) and a handful of tiny changes going on around the place in terms of how the site is run. The game, however, is in your hands. Threads, posts, and activity only happens when members, well, play the game! Make NTR what you want it to be in terms of plots and adventure, and it will shii~ine like the desert sun!
