Pavilion

On the border between the desert and the plains lies Pavilion, a bustling little market town that has taken residence in what used to be a convent. Caravans and farmers come here when Vegas is too far a journey and some set up permanent shop. Colorful stalls dot the courtyard of the convent, and large swaths of cloth and rugs hung from the shop roofs protect patrons from the desert's harsh sun. The inside of the convent doubles as a small restaurant and inn, housing travelers and shopkeepers who come to visit the colorful bazaar. It's a good place to get information, and the number of people who pass by increases everyday.
